I am always grateful to hear from you guys. I would not be here today without my clients and those of you who watch my videos and read this blog. I feel so lucky that my job is to help you get fit. I want you to change your life! I know how miserable being overweight and unhealthy can be. I was there. I lived it. That is why I am so passionate about health and fitness.

I spend hours making meal plans and workout plans because I know it is the most important thing you can do for yourself. However, I often get a lot of emails and messages that are full of complaints and excuses about fitness programs, their costs, and the commitment. I wanted to address this today. If you are considering starting a fitness plan or have started one and fallen off the wagon (maybe even more than once), then I want to talk to you specifically.

You only get one body in this life. The time to change yourself is NOW. You are not getting any younger and eventually you will run out of time. Stop making excuses and complaints as to why you cannot stick to your fitness program or lose weight. You are an adult and have control over your body and your life. It is time to make a decision to get fit. You need to do what Nike says: just do it.

If you have to get up early and go to the gym, just do it. If you have to spend most of your Sunday meal prepping, just do it. If you have to skip happy hour and go for a run, just do it. Make a promise to yourself that you are going to change. Remember, you are the only one who can change yourself. And you have what it takes to change your body! Nothing matters more than your health – not your job, your car, your shoes or your money.

People often tell me that it costs too much money to join a gym, buy healthy foods, or purchase a fitness plan. Then they spend their money on other things. You have to be willing to spend your money on things that might not seem fun but are more important! Make an investment in your health. Check your priorities. If you think a new pair of shoes or jewelry are more important than a gym membership, then you need to step back and reevaluate your life.

I know this might sound like I am preaching at you but I want so badly for you to get healthy. It is so important! I want you to listen to me because I know what I’m talking about. I have made every mistake you can make and I want you to learn from those mistakes. So, now is time to do it. Make the commitment. Get to the gym and do the work. Be consistent. Be patient. Do it the right way and do not cut corners. Your body will thank you.
